Reminder Dog Dosing for Pet Day tomorrow.Thu Sep 23 04:11pm
Dogs must be dosed for hydatids. Sarah Williams at North Canterbury Veterinary Clinic has offered to do this on Friday 24th September at 2.30 – 3.30pm at the school. Cost of either $4 or $10 depending on the size and previous dosages We also encourage dogs to be vaccinated for parvo. All dog owners must show a certificate to show that the dosing has been done. No certificate, no entry.

Hi Everyone, there has been a Trailride meeting set for this Thursday night at 7.30pm in the school library. There will be a debrief session followed by the structure and planning for our 2022 Trailride. Hopefully you can make it!

We hope all is well. You would have heard the news that New Zealand is moving to Alert Level 4 at 11.59pm tonight.
This means Waiau School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. No buses will be running. Due to Alert Level 4 our school will not be open for staff or for essential workers children.

This Friday the 9th of July at 1.35pm we will be celebrating Matariki, the opening of our new playground and the re-vamp of our school garden and new fruit trees. The children will be performing some waiata and sharing the food they have prepared with the help of Serina through the Zero Waste Cooking Programme. We also have a special guest Mayor Marie Black joining us in our celebrations.
